One of David's greatest achievements in the time that I knew him was when he broke the one hour barrier in the Glasgow 10K. Dave had paced himself all the way around the course and completed bang on schedule at 59 mins and 59 seconds. There are several of us running the Glasgow 10K in September when we can hopefully replicate Dave's acheivement of breaking an hour for the 10K! Nigel Bruce
