Aberdeen's Ultimate 26.22 Mile Forest Cycle

Created by Nigel Bruce 29th June 2012 This event has closed

Story

We are attempting a 26.22 mile cycle through Fetteresso and Durris Forests in Aberdeenshire in memory of David. The idea is to cycle at least 26.22 miles, possibly even further depending on the actual route taken on the day. Having only ridden some of the smaller sections of this huge forest the idea is to try and link them together to give us a tougher challenge. There will be plenty of steep hills to get the heart pumping and the thighs burning but there will also be one or two exhilarating downhill sections to cool us down. Date: Saturday 18th August 2012 Please give generously to this charitable organisation which saves lives at sea. ALL the money will go directly to the RNLI and Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. Richard Daniel, Fraser McIntyre, John MacLeod, Iain MacLeod, Sandy Craigmile
